Those who claim to love the Prophet (peace be upon him) ask: Why - TopicsExpress

Those who claim to love the Prophet (peace be upon him) ask: Why dont you grow a full length beard like the Prophet did? Why dont you wear white robes and caps and turbans like the Prophet did? Why dont you wear kohl in your eyes like the Prophet did? Why dont you eat something sweet after a meal like the Prophet did? To them I apologise to but have a thing or two to ask: Why dont you grow some humility like the Prophet did? Why dont you wear a smile not a frown like the Prophet did? Why dont you wear a robe of piety not a cloak of arrogance like the Prophet did? Why dont you visit the poor, the rejected, the scums of society like the Prophet did? Why dont you forgive the fornicator, the drunkard, the murderer like the Prophet did? Why dont you tie two stones around your stomach to suppress hunger and stop all that nonsensical sweet-talk like the Prophet did? Why dont you get abused and attacked and still pray for your enemies like the Prophet did? Why dont you share your meal, your clothes, your riches with friends and foes alike like the Prophet did? Why dont you look for excuses to pardon not punish like the Prophet did? Why dont you learn your religion like the Prophet did? Why dont you spread love, kindness and hope like the Prophet did? Why on earth dont you perfect your etiquettes and manners like the Prophet did? Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) said: I have been sent to perfect the best of manners. And verily, you (O Muhammad (pbuh)) are on an exalted standard of character. Quran, Chapter 68, Verse 4 O you who believe! Let not a group scoff at another group, it may be that the latter are better than the former. Nor let (some) women scoff at other women, it may be that the latter are better than the former. Quran, Chapter49, Verse 11 And turn not your face away from men with pride, nor walk in insolence through the earth. Verily, Allah likes not any arrogant boaster. Quran, Chapter 31, Verse 18 “And We have sent you (O Muhammad): not but as a mercy for the ‘Âlamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists)”. Quran, Chapter 21, Verse 107 Abu Huraira (RA) narrated that the Prophet (p.b.u.h) said:“Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false tales; and do not look for the others’ faults and do not spy, and do not be jealous of one another, and do not desert (cut your relation with) one another, and do not hate one another; and O Allah’s worshipers! Be brothers (as Allah has ordered you!). (Bukhari) #RAMADAN #RAMZAN VIA- TALHA NAZIM
