Those who teach tithing is for christians today,fail to study and rightly divide the word of truth,2Tim.2:15.Under the old testamentAll the tithe of the land,whether the seed of the land, or the fruit of the tree,is the Lords:and the tithe of the herd, or of the flock,the tenth shall be holy unto the Lord. These are the commandments,which the Lord commanded Moses for the chrildren of Israel in mount Sinai.Lev.27:30-34.Tithes included,corn,wine,oil,firstlings of thy herds,or of thy flock. Deut.12:17.God says in Jon.1:17,For the law was given through Moses,but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. For ye are not under the law,but under grace.Rom.6:14.No man is justified by the law.Gal.3:11.Christ came to fulfill the law.Matt.5:17.He took the law out of the way,nailing it to Hiscross.Col.2:15,to Give us a new and living way.Heb.10:20.Jesus came toEstablish a better covenant.Heb.8:7-8,of which Christ is the mediator of this new testament.Heb.9:11-28,and christians mediator to God. 1Tim.2:5.In the new covenant or testament,God says,Now concering the collection for the saints,upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by in store as God has PROSPERED him.1Cor. 16:1-2.He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly.
