Thought for Today! There is this guy in my neighourhood. For years he would verbally annoy me whenever he saw me. I swore at one point he got me so angry I was tempted to smash his head with a brick. One day I looked him in his face and told him he was annoying and not to come near me, this was after I was walking up the street and he passed so close to me he touched my shirt. Apparently something happened to him and his attitude toward me changed. He would pass and say Good morning, or good night and I would never respond. For months this went on and one day I said Good morning. He launched into a huge conversation. I listened and responded when it was needed. Since then, he is no longer annoying, furthermore, he would stop by and ask how Im doing and talk about life and whatever. Sometimes people dont have the basic understanding of how they act. They think its okay no matter how angry the object of their affection gets. We on the receiving end, sometimes need to take a step back and look at the environment that person comes from and realise why they act the way they do. #lessonlearnt
