Through all of the sadness surrounding the death of Phillip Hughes who died doing what he loved, nobody has mentioned something else. Please everyone have a thought for each and every man woman and child who is in the coming days about to step on to the pitch to bat or bowl. There will be so much confusion in the minds of particularly the young. How do I handle the short pitched ball?? Do I bowl this person a bouncer to soften him up?? Having been there and done that over many years I know how nervous it can be to open the batting. In time peeps will move on and things may return to normal but this has sent a shockwave thru the whole community.heres hoping Phillips demise is not in vain. . .
