ThrowdownUK 7 is coming ! Myself and Danny Macmillan are pleased to announce some fantastic fights already, that are lined up for Throwdown UK 7, 28th Feb 2015. At the beautiful Plymouth Guildhall. We have 10 solid match ups in place already with many top fighters to be added to the bill. Featuring Pro mma and Pro K1 title fights sanctioned by the TFC. And an amateur title bout also. Main Event will be Greg Reeves of Taurus Gym vs Mark Rowlett of Koncept Gym. Both these Pro mma fighters are former pro kickboxers. And will be returning to their striking roots to compete for the vacant TFC British Pro Title over 7x2min rounds of K1 style action ! Mark Rowlett is the head coach at Koncept gym with an aggressive kickboxing style and a wealth of knowledge and experience. While Greg is also a very experienced and all action stand up fighter. As well as being a pro mma champion. Both these guys hit hard and have 20+ bouts under their belts each. This is going to be a show of class and power ! While it lasts ! Our co main event will be Chay Ingram of MMAA (Macmillan Martial Arts Academy) - RGJJ South West UK vs Brett Hassett of All or Nothing. Competing for the vacant TFC English Welterweight Pro MMA title ! Chay has had a super busy year. Winning the ThrowdownUK amateur title in his last amateur fight at the beginning of the year. And going on to have a strong start to his pro carreer. Beating highly rated Brazillian Cleverson Da Silva along the way at the last Shock Nawe event in Portsmouth. His opponent Brett Hassett took the TFC Pro Southern Area title in his last fight. And is looking to push further up the rankings with this English title victory. Brett is known for his striking but took the title with a slick armbar. This one will surely be a display of high level mma in all areas. Although this matchmaker sees it as Brett being the favourite on the feet. With Chay edging the groundgame. But as mma shows us, it could end anywhere at anytime !
