Thru tears and heart ache, the packing has begun. I have 7 more days on my little island. My heart breaks to think of not living here anymore. These last 8 years have been some of the best and worst years of my life. I moved here on my own, not knowing anyone. I have since then, met some of the greatest people on the planet. I feel in love, married, divorced and feel in love again. I have had such a personal growing experience that I wouldnt trade for the world. This place has changed me in so many ways. I have tried, failed and succeeded. I have laughed, cried and discovered myself. I take with me so many memories, good and bad. It is hard for me to see now, but I know my future is bright. I will miss the sunsets, salty air, sandy toes and so much more. My body may leave the island, but my heart will remain here. Back to the arms of my family I go. Bittersweet. I will always be an island girl.
