Thundafund campaign for the Lentegeur Spring Festival is now live! Weve planted here before, and are happy to support community development in the region. A brief message from the organisers: Depending on how much support we can attract, we are planning to have a 1-3 day festival in September 2014, to show our project to the public as a model of the future Mental Health Centre we will become. It will also be an opportunity to bring the World Design Capital year to the people of the Cape Flats who otherwise would not get a chance to experience it. The festival will consist of a number of components including “open days” on some of our units to de-mystify what we do here, educational and cultural events and an expo of our project as well as of a range of other pro-environmental and community-building projects.
