Thursday 19th September :41.25 kilograms – year total 5095 kilos . Parked the Wannabe bike at the intersection of Bracker road & McEvoy street . Cleaned up Old Stanthorpe road with my usual side venture down Dead Horse lane . Today I went further , pushing along Donovan’s road and a small section of Canningvale road . It was along this last section that I picked up a truck battery which weighed 24 kilos . Without that my morning’s total would have looked pretty sparse . The really interesting thing was riding the bike back into town with this battery in one of the saddle bags . It made the machine very lopsided and unstable . Quite an experience . I’m quite happy with the way this week is working out , since I had Tuesday off due to the rain , and am looking forward to picking up more rubbish so roll on tomorrow .
