Addison Seacrist, four year old daughter of Jason and Jocelyn Seacrist, was diagnosed with ALL with + Philadelphia chromosome on 8/21/2012. Philadelphia chromosome makes her leukemia harder to achieve remission and harder to maintain a remission. She achieved remission shortly after chemotherapy was initiated. Addie has had the following complications to date: steroid induced diabetes, port infection, medication induced insomnia, stroke which resulted in heart surgery to repair a heart defect, and has contracted a multi drug resistant organism which requires her to be in isolation when admitted to the hospital. We travel to Jacksonville, FL for her oncology treatment to Nemours Clinic and Wolfson’s Children’s hospital. Her treatments depend on numerous blood supplies.
