Thursday Gratitudes: 1. Im grateful that I know what a clean kitchen is supposed to look like. Unfortunately, my kitchen does not qualify. In order to remedy this situation, I have decided to clean one cabinet a day until I run out of cabinets. I started with a base cabinet. Empty the cabinet, wash the shelves, stumble over a big old pot, no harm to me or the pot. Cut the shelf lining. Peal off the paper on the sticky side. Use every cuss word I know. Repeat several times while lying on the floor trying to smooth out paper on the lowest shelf. I finally decided the nobody would see the pleat at the very back of the cabinet. Take a break. Come back to find my neighbors cat resting on the unfinished shelf. And so it went. 2. I am grateful that tomorrow is another day. One cabinet finished. Many more to come. 3. I am seriously grateful to be able to take on a chore and see it through. Just being able to do is a blessing. I hope the good Lord didnt mind my serenade while I worked. I have a very real notion that He laughed.
