Thursday morning Tigger update! I visited Tigger in the ICU this morning, and got to talk with his surgeon. Tigger looks good, and feels good, and is very playful. VERY playful - he has had to have a lot of extra bandage changes because he is so active. He is wearing a funny looking harness thing to support his drains, but it doesnt seem to bother him. He was very excited to see me, and climbed into my lap and started chewing/gumming my fingers. He still has too much drainage for the drains to come out, so he will be staying at least one more day, if not more - the surgeon is hopeful that the drains can be pulled tomorrow, and Ill possibly be able to pick him up tomorrow evening. Fingers and paws (and eyes, for you, Patty) crossed! I want everyone to know we passed the $1000 mark with Tiggers FriendRaiser last night - we are just overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and support.
