Tijuana and Cabo San Lucas and the Baja are going to be pounded by a Hurricane tonight -- now, tomorrow -- I feel sorry for the people -- nothing is as well built down there as it is here -- so Damage will be unprecedented -- you betcha! and the ClimateFreaks will be oooh, worst on record and quote numbers in Dollars and houses wrecked and cars swept away -- again -- terrible -- but let us keep this in perspective - - In just 60 years Tijuana went from 60,000 people to 1.5 million (eh, 4 or 5 million in the area) -- And Cabo San Lucas went from like a dozen huts to the resort it is today -- And the Baja states (sur, norte) went from literally 100,000 to the millions it has today -- And so, without that perspective all the bullshit about record breaking is a bunch of hoobah ..
