Time is only an illusion. It is the result of the effect energy has on its counterpart, matter. This effect is called change and without it we would have no reference to judge the passing of time. Everything from light, heat, gravity, sound etc creates a change in the world, and as these changes occur, we feel as if time has moved forward, however, if these changes had not occurred, time would seemingly stand still. So the next time you ask what time is it? Remember, its the same time it was a hundred years ago. Food for thought.
