Time to nominate for Vestry members. Forms have been sent out. If you have not received yours contact the church office for a form. To be a Vestry member you have to meet 8 qualifications and be willing to serve. The Vestry member will have responsibilities to work in peace with church leaders and manage the vision and mission of All Saints Episcopal Church. The following characteristics a candidate should possess: 1. A committed Christian who worships regularly at All Saints, is at least 18 years old, baptized, a giver of record, and a person who embraces tithing of time, talent, and money. 2. A prayerful person who studies the Bible and prays on a regular basis. 3. A person able to attend vestry meetings, who brings some talent to the vestry, and is willing to serve 3 years. 4. A person who remembers that the vestry ministers to the congregation and a person who will joyfully resign and allow someone else to serve if they are unable to attend vestry meetings or fulfill vestry obligations. 5. A person who is willing to help develop All Saints ministries. 6. A person demonstrating effective leadership in the parish. 7. A person who has been an active and contributing member for the past 3 years. 8. If married, the nominees spouse and children, living at home, are regular in worship and activities at All Saints.
