Time to review this Ovation Fan Club posting Lost Art koa 14 fret limited edition have arrived from November 14, 2007, last post September 24, 2008. I just traded a great Adamas 1687-8 reissue with Al for a new #02 (built October 25, 2007). It arrived this evening. #02 of 12, custom slothead, tortoise binding, signed by Darren Wallace, wide neck, VIP pre-amp, both gorgeous and a great voice even though it has been in a case. Koa opens up a little slower than spruce - looking forward to it after open air and playing. I love it already. I have a number of great guitars (five are Koa). I dont count my wifes Celeb palm tree parlor with matching tenor uke. My understanding is that even after all of these years (the voiced complaints/concerns about Fender/Ovation guitars, etc.) that Al (LostArtVintage) still has several available (with warranty). This is like finding a treasure chest...get one if you can. I dont see how this opportunity will ever be available again. This is a picture of 2/12 that Al took:
