Times of India:AGRA: The Shiv Sena unit of Uttar Pradesh has reacted sharply to media reports that claimed the party was identifying Hindu families having 10 for more children and would offer them Rs 21,000 as cash rewards. A day after the report created ripples in the states political circles with the BJP hurriedly distancing itself from the entire controversy, Singh said his partys fight was against family planning measures forced on the Hindus alone. Talking to TOI, Senas UP chief Anil Singh said, I would like to clear my stand on the alleged distribution of doles. Shiv Sena is not supposed to give any money to any Hindu family for having more children. Our fight is against the family planning measures which have been forced on Hindus while no one asks Muslims to follow the same, he added. He warned that his party will not let any such measure succeed in the state until it is followed by both communities in equal measure. Hindus will not undergo vasectomy until equal participation of Muslims is not ensured, * Awadh Bihari Mishra, Prant Mahamantri, VHP, said, A normal Muslim family hasHV 10 children, while Hindus have only two-three. A Hindu can marry once while a Muslim has the right to marry four times. This is creating an imbalance in the society.*
