Tinubu was elected two-term Governor of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007 under the AD, a Pro-Yoruba political party. He formally took over the political party in 2007, when he changed the party name from AD to AC. AC went into the 2007 General Election promising true and fiscal federalism. Later on, after the election, the party jettisoned that promise. AC elected members of the National Assembly as well as its Governors and State House of Assemblies, did not make any contention in support of true and fiscal federalism. Tinubu practically lied to the Yoruba electorates. Even so, Tinubus AC remained an irresistible platform toward freedom and liberty for the Yoruba people. So, towards the 2011 General Election, Tinubu again changed the public name of the party from AC to ACN and promised Regional Autonomy. The Yoruba again voted for the party, only alas, ACN refused to support Regional Autonomy at the dodgy Jonathans National Conference. For the second times under four years, Tinubu lied to the Yoruba electorates. There will be another General Election next year. To Tinubu, change only means changing the name of his political party. Then, again, he has changed ACN to APC and has now run out of any argument to fool the Yoruba people. Mr 419 is now shouting marginalisation of the Yoruba in Jonathans cabinet. He hopes this will fool the Yoruba to vote his Islamic Jihadists Hausa/Fulani friends in 2015. The Yoruba are now fed up with his antics and voted against his party in Ondo and Ekiti States. He nearly lost the State of Osun. Conscious of his expected defeat throughout Yorubaland in 2015, he wants to redeem his Pro-Slavery, Pro-Fulani and Pro-Islam party with a Fashola as deputy to his Fulani friends from the Islamic Arewa Republic. Tinubu intention is not noble. If he really wants the Yoruba to have more say in the presidency of Nigeria with more cabinet positions, then only a Fashola presidency will do just that. A Gambari presidency will pack other Gambari into his government and the Yoruba would still be marginalized. Dont be fooled for the third times. Tinubu is fraudulent. #ThinkYorubaFirst and in the absence of Fashola as the APC Presidential candidate... four more years for President Jonathan.
