Tip: Pop Filter. Now this a real basic tip. The pop filter,s man use is to stop the over worded P,s , B,s , S,s and T,s. Or pops as more literaly described. Do you really need one?. In my opinion yes, it wont make a dramatic difference ( depending on how you spit,sing and record ). But you will notice the difference with one. There also great to set a good distance from your mic to get a good proximity effect level for you average volume of your vocals. Now you can make a home made version one with a coat hanger and a stocking or non-thick sock. But there fairly cheap (think mine was $30) and are better if bought, cause they usualy come with a bendable wire stand and a clip that clips to a mic stand but the do come in a variety of styles, some even have a metal mesh instead of a stocking style one. So it,s certainly worth poping into your local music shop to pick one up.
