To a selfish teen, way back when, God was priming me and preparing me to reach the lost. I still find it funny when people say they found God, as if he was ever lost. We are the ones who wandered, ignored, and avoided him most of the time. True prodigals understand prodigals - inerrant and wayward. I am not sure if you are familiar from the Bible story, The Prodigal Son. He left home, partied like it was 1999, squandered all of his inheritance and ended up forging for food in a pig pen. At one one point him and his dad reconnected like something fierce. Once home the Prodigals brother was jealous over the party and the restoration process that took place for his once M.I.A. brother of his - after all he blew it all. I am not sure which sibling you are but if you have lost your way - God is running for you and loves you like something silly. He paid the ultimate sacrifice for you so you didnt have to. He is not a religion kind of God but an all loving and compassionate relationship God. Your picture is on his fridge and he didnt make hell for you but he made a heaven for you to share with him.
