To all local artist that feel they need to leave Oklahoma inorder to make it, I hear everything your saying. But I know a lot of artist in Cali, NY, Atl, Fl, Tx etc. And their still local artist. Its not about where you live its about you doing the things that need to be done to make it. Jabee Williams is a local artist thats not local. But he does what he has to do to make things happen. Sean Johnson is a local artist thats not local. But he does what it takes to make things happen. And those two are just to name a few. The thing is you have to find your niche. Be creative and know how to draw people to you and make them wanna know more about you and who you are and what you do. I look at it like fishing. Either you can be a Big Catfish in a little pond or a minnow in a huge pond. The question is What are you doing to stand out amongst the crowd? Because this is an entertainment industry and you have to do more than just sing or rap. You have to have a presences, you have to interesting, you have to cteate a buzz for yourself. So many wanna be famous. When we should wanna be working musicians. You have to remember those that are in the llime light arent all rich some are still only making $40k-$60k doing music. Cause the labels are making all the money. So to all artist if you have to move to make It your wrong. Because if your not doing what it takes to stand out here. What are you gonna do when you get where your going. Music is an Internet thing these days. So you can make it from anywhere.
