To all my friends and everyone else who might see this. This may not be the best time to say this but after over 30 years of firefighting I believe I have the experience to say it. It doesnt matter what the state of South Carolina allows or disallows, use your common sense. WEAR THE HELMET. Especially you public safety servants. If you have worked any motorcycle accidents it doesnt take long to figure out that you may get a broken bone or 2 or 3 or 4 but the one in your head is the most important one that must be protected. You can LIVE in a wheelchair. WEAR YOUR STUPID HELMET, PLEASE. As a former motorcycle rider who rolled over the hood of a brand new 1973 Thunderbird who cut me off 3 times before he finally got me, my head was the first thing to hit the hard Michigan asphalt. It addled me but that was the extent of my injuries save a sore ankle. Ive lived almost 42 years longer thanks to a $25 helmet and Gods Grace. WEAR THE STUPID HELMET. YOUR LIFE IS NOT YOURS ALONE. THERE ARE PEOPLE DEPENDING ON YOU. QUITE THINKING OF YOUR FREEDOM AND START THINKING ABOUT YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES. Love to all.
