To all my friends, please read. Strangers welcome! The fire within burns passionately. Never more have I ever been so invigorated! Entranced by the road ahead, Ive been struck with wanderlust!! Roads of academics, prosperity and success. The paths of unknowns, insecurity and progress. All of which are laid before me. Daring me to venture into their depths. What will I find?? I have no clue. Too long have I been too frightened of their promised freedoms. No more!! Today, I take the steps toward my soul! Toward my being! For my soul! For my being! I will play in the sun chasing the butterflies like days of old. I will work until my hands have bled and are nothing but nubs (not literally, I love drawing so Id like to avoid this. Lol). Hardships never provoked me. Anyone who knows me knows this is true. Some call it patience, and for the most part I agreed. But, now I realize that my patience was determination all along. When I was in the active component of the Corps, many believed my patience was through the roof for b/s. It was. But patience isnt what kept me going. It was my determination. My determination to believe that my Shop/section/MC family will pull through the b/s and make the workplace somewhere I wanted to be. It was my determination that made me want the Marines who came afterwards that much more prepared and inspired. It my driving factor. I wanted to be that example. Sometimes, that example was that of which not to do. Now, at this point and time, it is my determination, once again, that makes me want so much more from Life, from Myself. It encourages me to want more for my Life, for Myself because I know for a fact I deserve it. And if not, I WILL EARN IT!!! Wish me luck folks and thank you for everything that you have done, are doing and will continue to do. Each of you are my inspiration. I take a little from yall and incorporate it into myself.
