To all of our customers and pilot friends, Some of you may have gotten the flightschedulepro email yesterday concerning our move. Inflight has been in a growth phase since we changed ownership almost 2 years ago. From the start our goal has been to revamp our operation and continuously improve our customer service. Today marks a major step forward in how we do business and how we want to conduct our operations for years to come. We have moved into the Elliot Aviation building located at 13801 Pioneer Trail, Eden Prairie, MN 55347. We no longer will be operating out of Modern Avionics. Over the next few weeks we will be getting settled into our office and we encourage all of you to come say hello. Nothing will change from a professional standpoint and we are still the same operation. Elliot is a full service facility, which will enable us to better serve you, and accommodate our growing fleet. Our goal is to make your experience with us as seamless as possible while still maintaining the best value. We have made several noticeable office improvements which I’ll highlight below. • Our office hours are still 9AM-5PM staffed and our airplane availability times are now 6AM-11PM CST with full line service. This means if you show up for a 6:30AM flight a lineman will have your airplane out and ready as well as topped with fuel. • We have laptops available for use throughout the office. You can do your scheduling, check weather, and file flight plans as needed. There is also a weather briefing area for you to maximize your flight planning experience. We will show you the facility amenities when you come by. • In a few weeks we will have GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition 1080P cameras available for use. All the Cessnas will have wing strut mounts and you will have the option to film outside the airplane or from inside the cockpit. • All of the airplanes in the winter will be kept in 55 degree heated hangars which means a better overall experience for you and better condition of the planes. • All of the airplanes will be debugged daily and windshields will be cleaned before every flight. • More time will now be spent focusing on your lessons instead of fueling airplanes, waiting for the hangar to be dumped, or nobody around to pull an airplane out. • We no longer will be outsourcing our maintenance which in the past lead to long down times, inconvenient scheduling, and no weekend availability. We have our own Mechanic on staff now who many of you will recognize. He is an A&P/IA and has been one of the main mechanics maintaining our fleet in the past. With our own mechanic our airplanes will be maintained to the same high standard, they will receive more attention, and the down times will be less. • After hours rental between 6AM-9AM and 5PM-11PM all of our aircraft will have tins inside of the airplane that will always be accessible when our normal staff isn’t here. If you want to take advantage of the after hours rental we will need a credit card on file before you will gain access to the after hours tins. • We will be having an Elite G1000 Simulator in our facility shortly that will complement our Elite BATD. This simulator will be good for 50 hours towards your commercial, 10 hours towards your instrument, and 2.5 towards your private. • If you are uncomfortable with operations on the ramp please take a CFI with you free of charge. Don’t forget if you haven’t flown with us in 90 days we are offering our instructors free of charge to get you current again to fly with us. *Not good for BFR’s or IPC’s* We hope you enjoy the changes we have made and we welcome any feedback or questions.
