To all of our neighbors! I never post stuff like this but I am now.....yes we have a barking dog, he is not like a child, we cant tell him to be quiet and expect him to understand. Yes we can hear him barking SOMETIMES AND we sleep with our window open. I have personally asked my closest neighbors and they said it doesnt bother them. Dogs bark when they hear things & I know there are other dogs and cats that come up here and get him barking. I have been told he has been fed treats which we dont appreciate bc he is a hunting dog and is fixing to be trained, so this could be another reason why is barks is bc he knows somebody is going to bring him treats. I was confronted last week and came home to a 2 page letter tonight on our door. If this has been going on as long as you say, why wait till now? I along with my neighbor have toddlers and he has never once been a bother to them. Thats part of living in a close neighborhood! My husband gets up before its light out in the mornings and he barks when he sees lights or hears us. Also if porch lights are left on outside he is going to bark, if someone pulls in he will bark as well, if he hears someone talking or sees someone hes going to bark, its part of being a dog! Yes sometimes he barks a lot but what exactly are we supposed to do? Tape his mouth shut? We have never caused ANYONE problems and never wish to but this is a little ridiculous. Im Sorry hes such a pain to so many but hes a dog!
