Just make sure it includes your name and country Ok, so once youve done that or perhaps your still curious why you would need to do this? For a few years ive been involved with one of the most soul - enriching and beautiful movements, the Healthcare Leadership Summerschool. After taking place in the Netherlands 2 years in a row, the next one shall be taking place in Paarl, South Africa next year March. In the first year we invited the renown Patch Adams, who shared his beautiful vision of healthcare and his approach to making it more humanistic (For those who havent watched the movie with Robin Williams, I advise you do so, and youll understand what I mean). This time however we wish invite someone who we consider not only a great example, but also who has a brilliant way of bringing ideas/vision to action. And with much of what he does, he is an embodiment of a spirit that believes in substantial change around the world. For those that dont know him: He is one of the most influential entrepreneurs in the world (Virgin Group) and does lots and lots of work for international peacebuilding. Co-founder of The Elders (of which Nelson Mandela was a part, also Kofi Annan, Gro Brundtland, Jimmy Carter, Desmond Tutu and others). For the Dutchies among us check out the Collegetour episode with him. And with the dreams and aspirations that this group has, there is no better person to come both as an inspiration as well as an ambassador for this cause. Coincidentally, he will be speaking at an event in Belgium next Monday. We will find a way to sneak into this event (working on that) and to talk to him. We hope to show him the video and explain why we would be honored to have him there!
