To be outraged about what is happening doesnt equal hating white - TopicsExpress

To be outraged about what is happening doesnt equal hating white people...and others inability to be outraged doesnt equal condoning what is happening! Just looking at some of these posts in my TL with the side eye... #NoJudgeZone over here! Admittedly, I am outraged, afraid, and hopeful - all at the same time, and I will continue to love all people and living beings who show love or at least basic respect for me...point blank period! NO APOLOGIES OR SHADE - I have some things to say, and some of you will be seeing this side of me for the first time. #SpoilerAlert It is the rampant and systematic inequality and injustice of black and brown people that outrages me and as with all things systematic there is much behind this system that most involved with and affected by it simply do not understand! The creator(s) of systems typically and initially is/are the only person(s) to understand everything about the system. Over time, complex systems evolve beyond the initial understanding of the creator(s). Think of a proprietary database that has been tweaked over time as users give their feedback about the system. Unless the creator(s) is/are doing all the editing of the system, there becomes no one who truly understands everything about the system. Now think of the incredibly complex system of dismissing, dismantling, and retarding the natural evolution of black and brown people since America was ripped from its native brown people. Who really knows who created this system? Who can track the contributions of billions of people to this system over centuries? Also, this system is integrated and evolving with the daily interactions of billions of people all over the world (who themselves are changing every second) and this makes it infinitely complex! Who can possibly understand, therefore control it all? Considering this complexity, I do not believe that anyone fully understands or controls this system. I do believe that there are groups of people (perhaps connected, perhaps not) who have the ability to influence changes to this system (and many more groups of people who do not). Still, I do not believe that these influence groups, whether connected or not, themselves have the ability to control the system that includes US ALL (what are they God?). Bottom Line - Inequality and Injustice towards black and brown people specifically, IS OUR NATIONS PROBLEM, not a certain ethnicitys problem, not a certain organization or institutions problem...and all of us who immigrated here or who were born of people who immigrated / were brought here, we all have a hand in it! I concede that racism - along with many other isms - is not limited to our nation; yet, TODAY, no one does inequality coupled with injustice quite like we do! Its like the difference between a man and an idea. The former is overt and thus can be understood and controlled. The latter is covert because it morphs as it lives - smoke and mirrors so to speak, becoming whatever it is perceived to be at any given time and most relevant to this discussion: becoming unable to be completely understood or controlled. Our nations systematic injustice towards anyone outside the status quo has morphed from man or the basic, overt forms of inequality-driven injustice we see wherever humans exist, to an idea or the insanely complex system of inequality-driven injustice we are witnessing wrapped up in the packaging of police brutality. I am trying to stay focused, yet, our nation also systematically affords many other groups with inequality and injustice; groups outside the black and brown discussion like children, the elderly, women, and our LGBT community... #Spiral AND before you start losing your mind, trolling my page --- of course I do not have the answer to human injustice in any of its horrendous forms --- NO ONE DOES, yet collectively, our souls do! I say all of this to say... Those of us who want something done, who are outraged, who understand some of this system but not all of it, who are afraid of what all of this means - we cannot do anything without, as Iyanla Vanzant says, calling a thing a thing! Human injustice in all forms is a systematic issue that is showing the fruit it sows, and we, most of us, DO NOT LIKE THIS FRUIT! This fruit stinks, and interacting with it disrupts normal human activity. This fruit breeds negative emotions and behaviors by making all who partake of it act like and believe there is only one right way to be human. Inequality coupled with injustice is about saying any human is inherently not the same as another for whatever reason! As humans, we have and will always experience extrinsic inequality, and I believe we were designed to be this way - unique extrinsically and similar intrinsically! For this discussion, our nation’s fixity with systematic inequality and injustice of black and brown people is the fruit --- and I say, if we do not like this fruit, lets start discussing how we are sowing this fruit we do not want to reap SO THAT WE CAN SOW AND REAP SOMETHING ELSE! And please note, alarmingly, we do this in many ways; sometimes individually, yet make no mistake, each and every one of us does this collectively as a human race & as professional, community, and personal groups! This is very important to us all, as humans, as a nation! I refuse to discuss or entertain a discussion based upon anything but truths...we ALL must own our unconscious and conscious bad behavior so we can begin to have a discussion to correct it! Starting with lies results in a deeper embedding of the systematic issue into our human race and I aint for that ish! This is not about what a certain group of people need to start doing or change...this is about having and acting upon conscientious discussions to identify the most damning components of this system so that we can collectively figure out the best ways to begin doing to this system of inequality and injustice what it is doing and always has been doing to black and brown people on the land we call our nation: DISMISS, DISMANTLE, AND RETARD ITS EVOLUTION! Maryanne Williamson has been talking about this for the last several days! To confront all forms of injustice, I propose a consciousness campaign that starts with learning more about our human propensity to believe that there is only one right way to be human because acting on these beliefs results in all forms of inequality --- and start from there. Equality, Justice, and America are idealized as intertwined - we can get closer to actualizing a veritable semblance of that ideal but we cannot afford to believe that we already have! If we truly want to learn what to change about what we sow so we can reap different fruit - we need worthwhile and actionable solutions from conscientious humans, whether American citizens or not, who take the lead in executing this campaign. Who is with me? Where are the professional, community, and personal groups that are willing to execute this campaign in their areas of influence? #LoveOverFear #AllLifeMatters #ConsciousnessCampaign.
