To day is a big day for my husband Jerry Alexander ( yes we ARE married ) and I . It is our 32 anniversary and also Jerrys birthday . So far .. So good . Here where it gets complicated . Unfortunately , it was also on this very date three years ago that we had to put down our beloved dog Domino . For three years this date has been difficult for us . It was hard to enjoy ourselves because this is the anniversary of Dominos passing . Eight months later , we lost Dominos life long partner Little Lucy . Last year , we adopted our new dogs Twiggy & Buster . When we brought them home we looked at the dogs medical records and discovered something so unbelievable but true . Both of our dogs were born on this day and they are not siblings ! Today our pups are 2 years old ! They are so in love with each other just like Domino &Lucy . They are such a joy . Today we can finally feel good about this day . We can now celebrate three birthdays and our anniversary and we can now celebrate and honor all of our departed four legged ones and winged ones . Buster & Twiggy got some ice cream this morning .Then I will take them to to the park. This afternoon we will be going out to eat . R.I.P. Domino & Lucy
