To defend the existence,moral instincts, territorial integrity and sovereignty of the state of Ghana. To protect the inhabitants of Ghanaian and to combat all forms of indiscipline which threaten the daily life. The Ghana National Cadet Corps is the state of Ghanas military forc- the grassroot of the Military. The Ghana CAdet is subordinate to the directions of the democratic civilian authorities and the laws of the states defense force. The goal of the GNCC is to protect the existence of self control, descipline and loyalty to evacuate all the efforts to disrupt the normal way of life in Ghana . The Corps sees to bring about inter-relation between schools,regions and most of all national integration with the help one our oneness as a whole. Cadet Corps are obligated to fight, to dedicate all their strength and even sacrifice their lives in order to protect the their communities and the country her citizens and residents as a whole. The Spirit of Cadet (Cadetism) is the identity card of the National values, which should stand as the foundation of all of the activities of every Cadet corp, on regular or reserve duty. The Spirit of Cadet and the guidelines of operation resulting from it are the ethical code of Cadet. Cadet Values The Spirit of Cadet draws on three sources: 1. The tradition of Cadet and its military heritage as the Base Of National Defense. 2.The tradition of the State of Ghana,its democratic principles, laws and institutions. 3.Universal moral values based on the value and dignity of human life. Basic Values: Love of the Homeland and Loyalty to the Country – At the core of service in the Corps stand the love of the homeland and the commitment and devotion . Human Dignity – The GNCC and its corps are obligated to protect human dignity. Every human being is of value regardless of his or her origin, religion, nationality, gender, status or position. Cadet Prayer♪ Grant us, O Lord, in all our duties thy help, in all our perplexities thy counsel, in all our dangers thy protection, and in all our sorrows thy peace; for the sake of Jesus Christ our Saviour. Amen. Grant to us, Lord, we beseech thee, the spirit to think and do always such things as are right; that we, who cannot do anything that is good without thee, may by thee be enabled to live according to thy will; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
