To my Delaware National Guard family, A front-page article in todays News Journal again brought home the hunger crisis in our state. Thirty-five thousand children, 17% of all children in the First State, live in poverty. This is unacceptable in our land of plenty. This is all the more reason for us, who are truly blessed, to care for those in need. Please consider bringing in food items for our War on Hunger or making a monetary donation to the Food Bank of Delaware. May you all be blessed abundantly for your caring and generosity.
