To my dear friends out of state: Our Colorado Springs fire situation continues to worsen. It is in Black Forest about 5 miles north of us and is 0% contained. So far they have confirmed that 360 homes have been destroyed and another 79 unaccounted for. This is devastating to so many folks, over 36,000 have been evacuated. You may remember that last June we lost 347 homes on the West side of Colorado Springs. Our current fire is on the northeast side of town. We have not been evacuated but many of our dear friends have. Please pray for our wonderful First Responders to be able to make progress in putting out this fire and for the Lord to calm the wind and bring the rain. Many thanks!!
