To my friends in New South Wales...There is a request from the Uto Ni Yalo for help .... this trust is set up to provide a way to teach about traditional sailing, navigation and respect for the ocean and our unique Fijian culture... while the canoe is in Sydney they need to raise at least $20,000AUD for things ranging from tax and duty of the canoe that was given to Fiji earlier this year, to equipment and maintenance... this canoe is a floating classroom which will travel around Fiji ...it is a great way for young people to learn about their culture, traditional skills and the environment...all while having an experience of a lifetime...they survive on donations and it needs your support... both now and in the future to help fund there work... visit the The Uto ni Yalo Trust FB page to learn more of their work and the Mua Voyage to learn about what they are doing...
