To our Members and Friends, Past generations of Izaak Walton League members have achieved a conservation legacy for Minnesota: establishing the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife Refuge, launching state Wildlife Management Areas which now total more than 1 million acres, and advocating for the protection of the Boundary Waters Wilderness. We benefit from the conservation accomplishments of the Ikes champions of the past. Izaak Walton League leaders from across Minnesota have decided it is time to make another down payment on conservation. We are working to develop a powerful grassroots network involving all chapters, members and allies. We seek to unite behind a compelling conservation vision worthy of our predecessors. Our woods, waters and wildlife need our attention if they are to be there for our grandchildren. We ask you to support the Izaak Walton League Minnesota Division with a financial contribution. We cannot thank you enough for the conservation leadership you exhibit in your daily life. We know, however, that Minnesota’s waters, wetlands, woods and wildlife cannot be saved without a concerted, organized effort at the state level. Could you please consider a contribution of $15, $25, or $50 or more to the Division? We need to raise at least $20,000 to educate, organize, and put together an “Ikes Day at the Capitol”. Your contribution will help make this happen.
