To praise God is all I do. To enumerate human acts is vanity. (Today, there have been many.)To experience and to see only God at work brings peace and power. They were the first words I read this morning. “Jesus gave . . . power and authority . . . “(Matthew 10:1) It’s mine and yours to take. Therefore, “it is right and appropriate for me to feel this way about you, because I hold you in my heart as partakers, one and all with me, of grace, God’s unmerited favor and spiritual blessing.” (Philippians 1:7) Don’t you feel it? Donot let anyone take your mind, heart and faith off His truth. Off His Son, Jesus. “So that you may learn to sense what is vital and prize what is excellent and of real value and that you may be pure and unerring, not stumbling nor causing others to stumble. May you abound in right doing which comes through Jesus Christ to the honor of God, that His glory may be seen.” (Philippians 1:10-11) These words are copied, verbatim, from the Bible. God’s Word always amazes me. At the exact moment I read His Word, He says exactly what I need to hear. Never does He say anything He wants others to hear. Just me. To me He speaks, but He is talking about you in these words, ”We have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, the leaning of your entire human personality on Him in absolute trust in His power, wisdom and goodness.”(Colossians 1:4) “This is positive proof of the right judgment of God that you may be deserving of His kingdom.” (I Thessalonians 1:5) “Grace, favor and spiritual blessing, and heart-peace from God and Christ Jesus.” (Titus 1:4) To you.
