To pray in the name of Jesus is to go to God the Father on the basis of the merit of Jesur Christ, Jesus achievf the victory for us on the cross, He died on our place to cleanse us from sinand made it possible for us to gain victory over the power of sin, on the cross He defeated Satan and achieved victory over the evil one on our behalf, in the name of Jesus we have access to the throne of God, but without the name of Jesus we do not have access, and it is impossible to receive anything from God in prayer. Often people rely on their own spiritual maturity, their uprightness, their method of prayer and prayer formulas, or on the fact that God answered their prayers in the past, only what Jesus did for us on the cross opens the path to the Fathers heart, and that is why we have to pray in the name of Jesus. 2 Cor 1:20, for all of Gods promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding YES and through Christ, our Amen which means Yes. Ascends to God for His glory.
