To rural dwellers,electricity may not b their immediate need.i tell u,good transportation network if provided will not just promotes political participation,but will have a lot of positive multiplier effect on economic activities in rural communities.it is on this note that i personally felt my people have not been fairly treated by d present government.a visit to bakin-kogi-patiko-kadunu road n nafok-vatt-ribung road in foron land will attest to the fact that apart from d usual radio n tv announcements,there are no evidence on ground to show that something good is on d way.i so much cherish d hausa proverb that says' kare ya che idan ana buki a gida na to in gani a kassa'.few months ago, we were told that d project will commence soon,my question is how soon is their soon?n what will b d decision of people in icen-land by 2015 if these roads are not constructed by d govt they all voted for? Only time shall tell bt as for me,i strongly believed that the people are not happy . those that are suppose to speak on their behav have rather made themselves toothless bulldogs. As a pround icen son,im disppointed wit some of our so-called politicians who have continually used bakin-kogi road project which is a need not a want as d basis for seeking votes during elections. D central message is that ,it will not work this time,enough of ur wickedness.
