To say this week has gone as expected would be a lie. This week - TopicsExpress

To say this week has gone as expected would be a lie. This week has been one big downhill race. Tuesday being payday we got takeaway. On the drive back I went to undo my seat-belt and was stung by a bee. Only I didnt know what had happened (the car was pitch black) all I know is my finger hurt. I had never been stung before. I raced in the house dug out my tweezers and removed a thin black thing. I still had no idea what it was. I applied Savlon and carried on with my night. Next I saw the takeaway place had stuffed up my order. Then we found a bee on the pillow I was laying on. We later assumed it had been on my jacket when I got out the car and then made its way off and onto the pillow. That night I happily went to sleep hoping that would be the end of it. Wednesday I went into work as normal and watched time go by while I worked. Going through the shopping list in my mind. Time to go home and the car wont start. On top of that my finger had swollen considerably and was itchy beyond belief. I fought with the car since 1pm. A guy arrived to fix my bosss vacuum cleaner and tried to help me. We cleaned the battery terminals and even tried jump starting to no avail. Then my father eventually came to my rescue, sat in the car and started her first time. Typical huh? To ease my itching hand I mixed the last of my Bicarb and water to make a paste and applied it to my finger. It soothed it nicely but as the night wore on the itching came back. Eventually I wrapped two ice blocks in a cloth and wrapped it around my finger and rotated it in hopes to relieve the itch and some of the swelling. With my car not starting my boss gave me Thursday off to get it sorted out. So I woke up, my finger worse than Wednesday and throbbing. It felt as if it was going to burst. I drove to the nearest Super Quick and while they were busy I walked to the chemist near by. They gave me meds to help with my finger confirming I was stung by a bee. Then the guys at Super Quick told me there is nothing wrong with the battery and that she should work just fine now. With renewed confidence I made my way to the shops to do the grocery shopping. Happily thinking my bad luck streak was at an end. Car fully loaded with groceries I parked close to the door at home. Once the car was unloaded I went to reverse her to her proper place and to my horror she wouldnt start, again. Then Jaco took me to buy my 21st present (Which once we had set up promptly fell on my head). He went to move my car and she started straight away. Then it was supper time, nice quick and easy ham and cheese snackwich. Or so I thought. This was such a flop that I dont even want to type it out. Worried about what today has install for me. Wanting this week to end, Tessa XXX
