To the College Community: Please note the following impacts that will occur beginning next week due to upcoming construction activities on campus: Traffic • On Monday, April 14, 2014, from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., access to the Colston parking lot will be via the Osborne Gate only – there will be no access from the Main Gate during this period. Parking • Beginning on Monday morning, April 14, 2014, forty (40) parking spaces will be made available for permitted staff/faculty vehicles in a temporary gravel parking area located at the east half of the South Quad. This temporary parking will be available through the Fall, at which time the restored Patterson parking area across from the Main Gate is expected to open. (A project to restore the Quad to grass is scheduled for 2015.) • Starting on Monday morning, April 14, 2014, the six (6) parking spots north of Butler Hall will be taken off line. These are expected to be returned for use by Commencement Day, May 30, 2014. Pedestrian • During the Spring Recess period, April 14-22, 2014, part of the pedestrian walkway in front of Nichols Hall will be temporarily detoured to accommodate work on Nichols Hall.
