To the People of Syria and their (illegitimate) Leadership: In the name of Buddha, the most enlightened, and His Exalted Majesty King Jigme Khesar, the Druk Gyalpo of Bhutan, we declare war on the Syrian Arab Republic. His Majestys Imperial Government has mobilized the Royal Bhutan Army and Royal Bhutan Air Force to invade Syria and provide support for the Mujahideen of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. Our hostilities against the Syrian regime will only cease if our main demand is met, which is the unconditional capitulation of Bashar al Assad, and the Syrian Arab Army under his command. Syria is hereby designated as an integral territory of the Bhutanese Empire. Thus, the Syrian Arab Republic and the Baath Party will be officially dissolved as result of the capitulation and any claims of Syrian sovereignty are null and void from this point onwards. The only legitimate government of Syria is the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) under the command of the most honorable Emir Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, who rules on behalf of the Bhutanese Crown.
