To the People of Waller County: Tomorrow, the voters of Waller - TopicsExpress

To the People of Waller County: Tomorrow, the voters of Waller County will decide what they want the future of this County to look like. Without a doubt, tomorrow is the most important day of this campaign - everything we have worked so hard for since I announced my campaign for county judge last summer. My commitment to this land and to the people of Waller County began years ago when I joined many of you to fight the Trans-Texas Corridor shoulder-to-shoulder. I continued that work in numerous boards and commissions, and most recently I found myself keeping citizens informed during the Tri-County Wildfires. I always did these things with the primary goal of giving Waller County a brighter future for our families. After fighting as a private citizen for our property rights, open government, and the responsible stewardship of our public institutions, I knew that the time was right to take that fight to the next level. Tomorrow is the culmination of that decision. I know that together, we can make a change at the courthouse and establish transparency in every aspect of Waller County government so that we can all be involved in the affairs that affect our quality of life. That is the cause of my campaign - a return to a county government that serves the people, not the other way around. For Waller County citizens that also want this - I AM YOUR CANDIDATE. Your support has meant a great deal to me. And Im asking you to do one last thing - GET OUT TO THE POLLS TOMORROW AND VOTE!! If you have already voted early, like I did, then thank you greatly for your commitment and support!! Lastly, please remember that COMPLACENCY IS OUR ENEMY IN THIS ELECTION. Early voting in Waller County is DOWN 10% from 2010, despite beautiful weather for the 12 days of early voting. This is in a county where most Republican candidates won with 60+% of the vote 4 years ago... The only thing that can keep me from being elected Waller County Judge is for Republicans to take this election for granted. If each of you will can get just 5 friends, family members, and neighbors to the polls tomorrow, we can make sure that we have a County Judge that will act with integrity. Too many times during this campaign we have seen my opponent do the opposite - whether it was refusing to comply with filing deadlines for campaign finance reports, fabricating a false ethics complaint against me, or falsely slandering me by alleging that I have committed tax fraud... She has shown a total lack of concern with the law and with ethics in general, as her record has demonstrated time and time again. It is no surprise why voters in Precinct 3 voted her out of office in 2012... That is why we need every single Republican (and Democrat that agrees with me that my opponent is not the answer) to commit to voting AND taking personal responsibility to getting others to the Polls tomorrow!! Finding your polling place is easy - just go to: https://team1.sos.state.tx.us/voterws/viw/faces/SearchSelectionPolling.jsp And once you know your precinct, you can find the list of precinct and voting locations at: wallercountyelections/votelocations.php **Remember that the Polls open tomorrow at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.!! The weather forecast for tomorrow calls for increasing chances of rain as the day goes on, so it might be best to try to get to the Polls EARLY!! The forecast calls for 50-60% chance of rain by 6-7 pm tomorrow evening. As your next County Judge, I will keep Waller County a place of opportunity, where conservative values, such as family, faith, natural resources and property rights - are important and where quality of life issues matter. Thats why I need you to vote tomorrow - so we can do more than just win an election - we can make Waller County once again a government of, for, and by the people... God Bless all of You and God Bless Waller County, Trey Duhon
