Today 10years ago I lost the best friend a girl could EVER have...my dad. He was an amazing man of faith, courage, strength, wisdom, love, kindness, and the list could go on. I miss him just as much today as I did then probably even more as I realize what a role model my girls are missing out on and all the joy that he brought to ANYONES life that he met. Although he fought NUMEROUS battles he ALWAYS had a smile on his face and a song in his heart. He never gave up, was always a fighter. I miss being able to just go sit and just talk to him and especially miss him being my shoulder to cry on; lord knows he did that more times than I can count. The ONLY comfort I have is knowing wheres hes at and knowing hes no longer suffering. I love my daddy. ~ Alex Joe Sanders~
