Today, December 1 is World Aids Day. As this awful disease continues in our communities, it no longer is known at the gay mans disease, it is a disease that can affect a new born child, a teenager, a single female, a single male, married men and women, and yes even a grandpa or grandma. No one chooses to get this disease, and some contract it through what they think are life saving medical procedures. Knowing many people who have been and are affected and effected from this disease, my wish for today is that we can all come together to show support for all who have ever been touched by the disease and continue to work towards finding a cure.
