I have received a disturbing report. A number of Republican voters appear to have been told by my opponent, Dan Waldron, that I am a Democrat trying to take the GOP ballot line. I also heard similar reports from a number of people I met going door to door over the last few days. Dan---If these reports are true, I have a question for you: Why the dishonesty? I am NOT a Democrat. I dont belong to ANY party. All my campaign literature is clear on this point. I dont believe judges should belong to parties. My status as an independent voter is public record. It is grossly improper for any politician to mislead the public, but this especially applies to judicial candidates. I challenge you to stand to account for these reports, Dan. If they are true, you should quit the race. Lying is not in the job description for Town Justice.
