Today I donated my first EVER pint of blood! I went with Katie, who was donating her 6th pint. Shes been trying to get me to do it ever since a teacher got her started donating, but Im just such a wimp about getting my finger poked and that BIG needle! But, it really wasnt bad. They sat us on beds facing each other, and we were giggling away as we raced to see who could get their bag full first. I think people thought we were having WAY too much fun over there! ^_^ And it was a good feeling to know that three people will benefit from every pint donated. I think Im hooked! :)
