Today I moved into my new home in Boston. Put a lot of thought into what home I should move into. Number one goal is this a home I can bring my children to. If you know me well enough, you might know that Im terrified of being alone. I like to have lots of people around me all the time. So out of all places to find a place, it was in the newspaper this morning there was a listing of a large family and a large home that has a random extra bedroom that they thought it would be nice to maybe rent out to someone. I called them up and told him Id like to check out the place. I fell in love. Oh boy let me tell you about it. The family has four generations living here. They have the grandfather who owns the house. I introduced myself three times to him. Hed forgotten each time. And each time he instructed me to refer to him as the sergeant. The mother runs the home with her two daughters my age who each have children. Same age as my kids. From the mother to the daughters, they all have the same tragic story of fathers whove been in and out of the childrens lives from the very beginning of first pregnancy. Theres a total of 11 souls living in this very large Boston home. Let me tell you about the property of why its the dream home for me to be able to bring my own kids. The property has 2 Tennis Courts. Two playgrounds. And lots of open land. Tonight I talked with mother for almost 2 hours as she explained to me how all the laundry works with their industrial size laundry machines. She showed me where all the food is. Since I told her Id love to cook for the family dinner tomorrow night. She showed me all of their seasonings, huge closet full of food. She showed me her mammoth size freezer as well as have a mammoth size fridge. Its a cookers dream come true. I told the mother and the daughters that Im going to run some errands and go get the money made from Katies store for the first month rent for their spare bedroom. As Im driving home, I get a call from the mother who tells me that they all voted and that theyre happy that Im coming home to them and that my children are invited over anytime I like. My mouth dropped and I told her, well arent you so good to me. I have so many plans. Tomorrow morning I plan to fix one of the hoops to the basketball court. I think the younger kids will appreciate that. I also plan to take photos of everything I just describe you. And then Im going to clean up around the pool. Its nice, it just need a little bit of work that way itll be ready for when Katie and Rhett comes to see my new home. Tonight as I am walking underneath the stars exploring their property, I have walked far enough that Ive found a fireplace, and I am thinking oh my gracious this is just the best. I can see it now, Katie, Rhett, and I just snuggled up in front of this fire crackling its lights onto our comfy faces, projecting its long shadows that will dance across the dark trunks of these trees. And it gets better, when you walk far enough it ends off with the lakefront view with the dock that one can walk and stare at the stars all they want. In twilight the surface of the lake is as smooth as black glass, you can imagine walking right out onto it or skidding across the surface in your socks. Oh what a dream come true. … :D Now TYPE if You READ it!
