Today I received the editorial notes for rewriting The Fools Quest. Both my editors (US and UK) contributed and then presented me with a definitive fix it list. 48 pages. And you know what? I am so grateful. Its really hard for an author to see his work impersonally. The notes I received were insightful and are aimed at doing exactly what I want to do as an author: make this the best book possible. I feel so sad when I hear aspiring authors speak as if writers and editors are natural antagonists. That should never be so. I am off to work over the book and may not be as active on here for a time. Wish me luck!
