Today I sat through the designer run for Hello, Dolly! It was one of the most amazing theatrical experiences that Ive experienced in a long time...and this was the first run-through on the platform. The direction is superb! The choreography is outstanding! The performances are stellar! Im so impressed with the dancing and singing ensembles. Brilliance! The principals have brought so much heart to this piece, as well as pristine comedic timing. And what about the marching band??? (yes...a marching band.) If you are anywhere near St. Louis next week, you have to see this show! Bring your kids, husbands, wives...the entire family. This is true classic musical theatre with the true magic that only The Muny can infuse. Dont wait until the last minute...get your tickets NOW!
