Today, I sent a letter to the Chief Electoral Officer and The Attorney General with a list of several observations I had during my first foray into municipal politics. These observations lead me to question the integrity of the democratic process.. In my letter I am seeking clarification as to the proper protocol & procedure in municipal elections. What is acceptable practice and what is not? At first, to be honest, i did not want to rock the boat. However; after some reflection, I realized that I am forever encouraging people to ask questions; to stand up and speak out; to let courage be their guide. Today I am taking my own advice and I am asking questions and seeking answers..
