Today I took care of a 25yo female who was getting a hip replacement. She is in remission from Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma that was dxd at age 17, but now the aftermath of her battle is bone-on-bone bilateral hip joints. Im now on call and just put an epidural in a soon to be new mom who is about to bring a new life into this world, only to now read my email where I found out that a friend of mine was recently dxd with Breast Cancer. People...we get one body in this life. Take care of it and dont take it for granted when it is healthy. FEMALES...learn how to give yourself monthly self breast exams and educate yourself!! The youngest pt Ive had so far was in her 20s, so dont think it cant happen to you. WEAR PINK THIS ENTIRE MONTH!!! You never know who you will bring awareness to!!! Good night for now!! Xoxo
