Today I visited the crash site and Memorial of Lancaster P for Popeye. Here in Papendrecht NL. The 7 graves are in the local cemetery, together. If anybody here is a relative of the 7 that perished, I will gladly go and put flowers or whatever for them. The main lettering on the memorial translates as We will continue to remember them always The white bit on the front top is a letter written July 2014. In Dutch, but it is signed off with Thank you for our freedom The block of flats behind is named Lancaster Popeye. They had to dig the aeroplane up in 2004 to build the flats.
