Today I was loading my groceries into my car in the Bonnie Doon Mall parking lot when a 30 something man approached me. He told me he wasnt a bad guy and said that he was residentially challenged. (new word for homeless, I guessed). He said the last person only gave him $1 and that wasnt enough because he was very hungry. I told him I didnt have much cash on me (only a $5) and that I could give him 5 dollars. Well, $10 would be better he said. So I gave him my cash on hand and then went straight to Timmies to buy a gift card to leave in the car so Im ready next time. So hard to know what to do.
